HEIR OF FIRE YES. And it follows so many different characters too (each as awesome as the next!)

I keep seeing Rose Under Fire everywhere! I have Code Name Verity in my TBR pile, so maybe I should get on that. Thanks for sharing!

I am DYING to continue with the His Fair Assassin trilogy, I've only read the first and fell totally in love.
YES HEIR OF FIRE! (I'm actually finishing up my Throne of Glass re-read with Heir of Fire again right now!) Woo Fangirl! Love that one! I've been dying to read Rose Under Fire & In a Handful of Dust! I can't wait to get my hands on them! Of course though, alllll of the other books on your list are on my TBR so it's looking like I've got some character driven goodies in my future!:D

Yay Rainbow Rowel!! I loved both of those books! I've been meaning to read the series by Mindy McGinnis and even have the first one currently checked out from the library, I just haven't gotten to it yet. Hopefully I can! I've also heard how incredible Sarah J Maas's series is, but haven't been able to pick it up either. Great list and thanks so much for stopping by my Top Ten :)

ps. I'm so happy Nicole feels the same way about Open Road Summer! I am still obsessing over that one even though I finished it over two weeks ago! Oh, and you should definitely read Breathe, Annie, Breathe! It was so so so good and I think you'll love it :)

-Jessica (Peace Love Books)
I've just started re-reading The Piper's Son and noticed the praise for Finnikin of the Rock. I think I'll try it even though it's not my usual genre. I LOVED Let's Get Lost - it was a quick read but really mature.

I haven't read Fangirl yet, but I concur that the characters are what make Landline the wonderful book that it is. Their relationship just seems so real!
I haven't read a single one of these, sadly. Out of all those, I think I'll be reading Fangirl next.
Love seeing a Melina Marchetta book on there! I chose The Piper's Son, but really all of her books are so character focused. I love that, especially because I adore all of her characters.
Completely agree about Fangirl and Dark Triumph, too!
Great choices, girls!
I finally bought FanGirl, but haven't had time to read it yet. I'm usually much more into historical fiction.

Thanks for visiting The Book Connection.

I should have thought of SAY WHAT YOU WILL since I just finished reading it last week. I really struggled this week because I started out to create a list of just YA books that are character driven and I tried to stay away from books that were driven by the plot even if they had strong characters like The Hunger Games, Thanks for visiting my blog and putting up with my puny answers.
Great list - I've just ordered Finnikin of The Rock in at the library - really excited about it!
YES to Heir of Fire and Fangirl and Rose Under Fire (which I literally just finished a few hours ago and ajfdskal I'm still in totally feels drenched wonder right now...I don't even know how to review that awesomeness). I can't believe I didn't squeeze and Sarah J Maas on my list though! >_< I LOVE all her books so much. Hehe.
Thanks for stopping by @ Notebook Sisters!

Ooh, Dark Triumph and Some Quiet Place both look really good. I've added them to my TBR. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for stopping by Classy Cat Books :)
My recent post Ice Massacre by Tiana Warner
Nicole, I can't believe I didn't think of Dark Triumph! I just finished Mortal Heart, and that series is just so character driven.
Ashley, I haven't read any of yours but I did read Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell, and that was definitely a character story!

You guys have such great books - I'm going to follow you ladies on bloglovin :)

My recent post Review: Throne of Glass
I just love Fangirl and yes, I agree that it is very character driven. Great lists ladies!
My recent post Waiting on Wednesday #12: The Fill-In Boyfriend, Salt & Stone, and Seriously Wicked
Why, why didn't I think of Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell! I loved that one for starters and two the character/s are driven... on the other hand I've been waiting to get my hands on Landline by Rainbow Rowell. Great list and once again thanks for stopping by!
