My son inherited my love for The Giving Tree, glad it's on your list. Blarrgh. I haven't read the Potter books.

I can't believe I didn't put To Kill a Mockingbird on my list. It completely slipped my mind, and I was talking about it with my family over the weekend. I also loved The Giver. It was an all time favorite of mine as a pre-teen. I remember reading ahead when we had to read for class.
Wonderful list! I actually just read The Giver last year. Better late than never, I suppose. I would love to re-read 1984.

Yes! I have A Little Princess on my list too - I adore that book ♥ I've actually already reread it as an adult a few years ago but I could totally do so again! And how I wish the HP books had been around when I was a kid :( The first one came out when I was a senior in high school and I must have thought I was 'too old' for a book like that at the time...I only got into the series in my mid-twenties >.< I still need to read 1984 though, but it's on the TBR! To Kill a Mockingbird is a good one too. Great picks^^ Here's my TTT post this week!

To Kill a Mockingbird! Such an amazing book. <3 I love those characters so much. One of my favorite book lines of all time is, "Hey, Boo." CHILLS.
Also, The Great Gatsby and 1984 are two of my favorite "literary" works as well. :P

Harry Potter! I always love revisiting Harry Potter :) I need to do a massive series reread binge this year, because it's been WAY too long. Also, A Little Princess is one of my favorite classics EVER, and I loved The Chronicles of Narnia and The Giving Tree and The BFG too! :D

A Little Princess!! That was one of my favorite books. Ever. I remember reading it over and over and loving it so much. I also loved Tuck Everlasting and From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. And Are You There God, It's Me Margaret?

To Kill a Mockingbird…yes, loved that one too. Have you guys read the story about the second book? I read that it's actually the first book she wrote, and it was about Scout all grown up, but I guess there were flashbacks or references to what happened when she was a child, and the agent (or publisher, I'm not sure) thought that was the story that needed to be told so she rewrote it, telling the childhood story. So now we'll get to read the original story. I'm trying not to have too high of expectations.

Great lists!

Nicole - I would love to do another re-read of the Harry Potter series. I don't even know how many times I have read them already, but I still can't get enough. It's hard though when I have some many new and shiny books calling my name to read.

Ashley - I would love to revisit To Kill a Mockingbird. It was probably my favorite book that I read in high school.
