Ten Books To Read If You Like ...

If You Like Stephanie Perkins

When it comes to the Contemporary genre, it doesn't get much better than Stephanie Perkins. When reading her books, one can expect to find charming characters, adorable romances, memorable settings and lots and lots of growth. Here are a few other books that I happened to love that share some of those characteristics:

If You Like Laini Taylor

When I think back on Daughter of Smoke and Bone I picture a strong female lead taking on a crazy adventure with fantasy and supernatural aspects weaved into the story.  The series takes place in various locations but overall I get the darker, Gothic, and edgier vibe to the settings. Here are a few books that I have enjoyed that have a darker setting with an awesome female lead and supernatural aspects.

Heck yes! I love all of your picks and I especially love that I've already read most of them except for Nantucket and Unspoken. But it looks like I should be adding them to my TBR since you compared them to Stephanie Perkins and Laini Taylor!

Both of your lists are spot on! Although I didn't really like Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I do however want to read Girl at Midnight and I loved Sanctum!!

I love Unspoken, Sanctum, and Angelfall but oddly, I never finished Laini Taylor's series. I'm not a big contemporary ready, but I do plan on picking something up by Kasie West, I see her books everywhere!

These are great choices! Stephanie Perkins and Laini Taylor are great, and I definitely agree with so many of these - Sanctum, Angelfall, On the Fence, Amy & Roger, and Fangirl are some of my favorite books.
