I love Anna Dressed in Blood so much! It's spooky without being overly scary and I love the Supernatural and Buffy vibes I get from the characters.

Gosh I need to read The Raven Boys but only after the last book comes out. Everyone seems to be in pain after reading the last book and waiting for the finale to come out.

I love love love your list! I read The Forest of Hands and Teeth and Anna Dressed in Blood a long time ago, but I remember being creeped out, especially by the first. The Diviners is definitely one of the best books I've read this year and I can't wait to read the sequel. The Raven Cycle series is one of my all-time-favorites, I love everything about those books. I've just read Slasher Girls & Monster Boys and it was SOO GOOD! Can't wait to read In the Shadows of Blackbirds, Asylum, The Dead Girls of Hysteria Hall and This Monstrous Thing.
Amazing list!

I've been meaning to read Nightmares since I got it from ALA. Is it any good? I haven't heard much about it other than that it's MG and by Jason Segel.

THE RAVEN BOYS. I think it is pretty creepy in its own way :) I'm excited to read This Monstrous Thing, and I am realllly hoping it is not super creepy. I don't know what I'm getting myself into, all I know is that it has something to do with Frankenstein?

I have had Anna Dressed in Blood on my Kindle FOREVER. I need to read it. Great list!

I just finished The Raven Boys on audiobook and I agree, it is a great read for Halloween! I enjoyed it a lot. The Diviners is a good choice too. I haven't really read any of the others. I don't read a lot of horror/spooky books because I am such a scaredy cat sometimes.

I don't read many "Halloween" type books, but I love that you included The Raven Boys! And Anna Dressed in Blood sounds like a good pick. :)
