Mini Challenge #4:
Write a letter to our future blogging self
Dear Older, Much Wiser Quiet Concert,
Say whattt?! THAT many people care what you guys have to say about books! What a pleasant surprise!!! And you EACH found husbands that will let you stay at home to read and blog all day! Kudos on that feature you guys started - it is so original and such a success! And we are really impressed with the new blog design. It looks like you guys have finally figured out html coding! And don't tell me you've figured out how to use twitter! Never thought I'd see the day. Must be that all blood sweat and tears that we are putting into this blog have really paid off.

We are so proud of you future selves (and we know you are proud of us). Keep up the good work!
Love,
Young, Less Wise Quiet Concert
This was a great letter! A couple of lines made me giggle a bit.

Love this one! Keeping it light. And I love how you mention being proud of yourselves, that is so important!
ReplyDeleteOh this was so sweet & funny. I also hope to score myself a husband that will let me stay home to read and blog all day (honestly, how awesome would that be!?) You two have such a lovely blog, you should be proud of it :)
ReplyDeleteThanks :) It would be quite awesome!
DeleteLol! Brilliant letter :) So sweet and funny!
ReplyDeleteLol. Your future self sounds so impressed! Hehe. I really enjoyed this. I too can attest to being late on Twitter. I used to loathe. As for the HTML coding, you get better with practice. I'm on my iPhone so I can't see the grandeur of your design fully, but I love that heading! It makes me feel comfortable.
ReplyDeleteChristine @ Oh, Chrys!
Getting used to HTML and Twitter has definitely been a learning experience. Thanks :)
DeleteThis was hilarious! But wouldn't it be nice if all of that were true in a year or two? ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great letter! I needed a complete refresher in HTML and had no clue how to use Twitter when we started blogging. It's been a lot of work getting up to speed on all of the tech stuff but also a lot of fun because I'm such a tech geek, lol.
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely a learning experience becoming familiar with all the HTML coding.
DeleteAhh, this was a great letter that made me chuckle! And you know, it's very possible that these things will come true! :D
ReplyDeleteGood luck for the future you guys. =]
