Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's Top Ten list is "Top Ten Words/Topics That Instantly Make Me Buy/Pick Up A Book" Nicole's Top Five:
Great lists! Apparently great minds think a like. I'm not saying that everything is the same on our lists, but some of them totally are. Oh and if you like dragon books you need to read "The Sweetest Dark"!
Excellent choices! I am drawn to everything on the list except for the historical stuff. The male POV is a great one that I didn't think of. :) On a side note, I agree with Christianna above, "Sweetest Dark" has 1.dragons 2.boarding schools 3.historical significance. It was also written really well.
Male POVs are always fun :D. The same with alternating POVs. I love those. When I noticed that the book I was reading was multi POVs I fangirled.. I love them. Old follower my TTT http://kimberlysnovelnotes.blogspot.com/2013/04/top-ten-tuesday-19.html
Ooh I def want to read more male POV books. I have the mistaken assumption that male POVs are mainly in contemps...which I have no desire to read. I need to start Holly Black's Curseworkers series ASAP! Assassins, historical settings, dystopian societies, dragons!, and boarding schools are all awesome picks as well!

ReplyDeleteDRAGONS! I totally, totally agree about dragons. I usually try out a ton of books just for the dragon element. My current favorite is Seraphina <3
