Currently watching your book haul and I plan to watch ALL of it! :)
Your book selection is so good. Zodiac sounds so interesting and different. I also have started the Hush Hush series and i agree that it had potential but I felt slightly bored sometimes. I think it was very overrated. I do want to finish the series though :)

Such a great haul! I'm so sad I couldn't make it to BEA this year, especially since I'm less than 2 hrs away. :( Fingers crossed for next year! I still haven't started the Throne of Glass series, but I do have Throne of Glass on my shelf and have promised myself I would read it at some point this summer. I do have Grave Mercy as well, as many I need to add that to my summer must-reads too. I'm more of a contemporary books fan, so I get behind on my fantasy reads. Great job with your first vlog! :)

Nicole! You are so pretty. :) I'm so sorry I didn't get to see you last week. I'm so bummed. :( BEA was a madhouse, wasn't it? Gawd. And the books! The books! My legs are still sore, to be honest. All that walking and waiting around. Grrrr.

Your vlog was so cute! So many books and I can't wait to read Heir of Fire. I'm jealous that you're reading it right now!! Oh well, sometimes I get sad that I've already read a book when I read about someone reading it for the first time. Does that make sense? Like you sort of wish you hadn't read it so you could be reading it for the first time. Yeah, I know, I'm just trying to make myself feel better that I don't have that book. :)

Mortal Heart…I can't wait to read that. I just read Dark Triumph yesterday ($1.99 on Kindle by the way) and I really enjoyed it. I love how all of the characters are connected, but each book focuses on a different character and a different story. Such a refreshing change from reading three books that are really one story (it's becoming my new pet peeve).

Yes…Zodiac sounds good. Queen of the Tearling looks so good too! And the main character is 19, by the way, so it could go either way. Sort of like Maria V. Snyder's books, I guess. Heather Demetrios…this new book is so different from Something Real, which I loved. I definitely recommend that one, by the way. And Talon…can't wait!

Afterworlds…also sounds so good. Thankfully I got this from Edelweiss so I'll be reading this soon. And I loved the Uglies series.

Ooh…James Frey. A lot of controversy about him and his "memoir." I guess he should stick to fiction.

I'm adding some of these as you're vlogging, by the way. Great first vlog!

hahah I know it would kill me to see others reading it and have to wait longer so I am sorry for my million status updates. Hopefully the time will pass quickly and you will read a bunch of amazing books in the meantime to keep you busy :)

And I'm so glad you read Dark Triumph (and enjoyed it) Its one of my favorites!!

And I thought the main character was young in The Queen of the Tearling! And aren't they marketing that as like a Game of Thrones for girls or something? I don't know it sounded like YA whatever.

Well, aren't you adorable :D! You are not awkward at all! First of more vlogs? One thing, you might try to look at your webcam and flip the screen in your settings. That way, your books are mirrored :)

So there is a trick so that the books show up correctly? I will have to try that next time. Since the response has been positive and I got over my fears of my first vlog, I can see myself doing more in the future :)

I love the fangirling and all caps! I wish you weren't in the Netherlands and I could just send you books easily!! Move to America, Mel. :)

Bahahaha, I just watched the whole thing and added a whole bunch of books to my Goodreads! So many that I haven't heard of. Also, I have to read Grave Mercy soon. You are adorable! I've never done a vlog before, and would probably be terrible at it - I'd either start rambling or run out of things to say haha. ANYWAY. You did a fantastic job. =)
I'm so glad I met you at BEA! Next year I'm gonna give you a little slap on your wrist for not going back and snagging that Theo James-look alike's number. :D
