There are several on this list that I've been wanting to read for a long time - Grave Mercy & Daughter of Smoke and Bone being my top two. Great list - I hope I get to try them sometime soon!
Excellent recs! There are a few here I haven't tried yet but need to get to very soon (THE DIVINERS and THE BEAUTIFUL AND THE CURSED in particular).

I love Unearthly! I have a lot of these books and haven't read them yet. I need to!
Fabulous recommendations. I've only read a few from each group and I've been meaning to read most of them. I hope to pick up Rose Under Fire and Angelfall soon. I've heard nothing but good things about both of them.
You have the wrong image on there for Code Name Verity.. I only noticed because I'm going to be reading it soon since I have it checked out from the library. All of these books look awesome! Great list! :)

Thank you for catching that! And I hope you enjoy the book :)
I really want to read more historical fiction and I'm so happy that I've found so many recommendations this week! =)
I adored Unearthly! A fantastic series. Grave Mercy has been on my radar for a while now. I do love historical fiction and paranormal reads.
I love historical and paranormal fiction and you picked some good ones. Diviners is awesome and Anna Dressed in Blood is so fun. Great list!

Two genres I don't read much of. Thanks for the recs! Now I know where to start. I've had Grave Mercy on my kindle forever... I think I'll have to give it a go! :)

I love historical fiction, but I haven't read any of these five. I've got a few waiting on my Kindle, though. Angelfall is one of my favorite paranormals, too. I'm always recommending that one to my friends!

What a fun topic! I've been meaning to check out In the Shadow of Blackbirds. And your paranormal recs include some of my all-time faves! The Beautiful and The Cursed has such a lovely cover- glad to see it made your list.

I don't read much historical fiction, I admit, because I've only read Grave Mercy and The Diviners (love them!). I have Code Name Verity checked out from the library, but I haven't read it yet.

Angelfall and The Beautiful and the Cursed…love them!!! I still need to read Anna Dressed in Blood, it's been on my Kindle forever. Daughter of Smoke and Bone…I ended up loving this series, but for some reason I didn't love the first book. I liked it, but didn't fall in love with the series until the second book.

Great list!!

Angelfall! Grave Mercy! Two of my favorites. :) I hope to read DoSaB, The Diviners, and In the Shadow of Blackbirds at some point. Thanks for sharing!

If you like Historical Fiction, you really should check out His Majesty's New World by Kenneth Tam. It follows an army regiment that was killed in WW1 and tells the stories as if they didn't die, and has a few great twists in it :)
Here's my list. I've started doing them on YouTube as an experiment. Like and comment if you get a chance. :) http://youtu.be/dapaLyFe-N0?list=UUP4Ao6fj3mLXHqO...
As you know, I just got Grave Mercy from the library!!!! :D

These are fabulous recommendations. GRAVE MERCY is definitely one of the best series and I highly recommend it to everyone. The diviners was good too, I can't wait for the sequel and In the shadow of blackbirds was great. I loved those photographs. Code name verity is high on my wish list, I think I will love that one.

Anna dressed in blood was good. I really liked Daughter of smoke and bone and I LOVED Angelfall. Funny, I just posted my review from that book :) I wasn't blown away by Unearthly, but it wasn't bad either. I need to take a look at The beautiful and the cursed. Pretty cover and it's about gargoyles, right?
