Top Ten Books We Hope to Get at BEA

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's Top Ten list is a freebie so we decided to do "Top Ten Books we Hope to Get at BEA". Let us know if you will be attending so we know to look for you and if you see us please say hi!!

Nicole's Top Five

1. Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray - I feel like I have been waiting a lifetime for this book. I've definitely had to wait longer than any other book I have desperately wanted so when I saw that it was going to be at BEA I literally freaked out. GIVE IT TO ME NOW.

2. Armada by Ernest Cline - I was late to the game to read Ready Player One but OMFG DID I LOVE IT. It was one of the most fun books I have ever read (err, well listened to) and I am BEYOND excited to read his new book.

3. Truthwitch by Susan Dennard - I want this book so bad that it looks like I'm making a special trip to BEA on Wednesday just to get it. SJMaas said it was amazing and that's all it takes for me.

4. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo - Does this even need an explanation? It's Leigh Bardugo and more of the Grisha world. Nuff said.

5. The Pirate Code by Heidi Schulz - It was such a pleasure reading Hook's Revenge and it left me completely smitten. I cannot wait to have more of Heidi Schulz writing!

Ashley's Top Five

1. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowel **Special Edition -Rainbow Rowell is one of my favorite authors, so a special edition Fangirl, YES PLEASE!
2. Six of Crows (The Dregs #1) by Leigh Bardugo - I love how dark and intriguing this cover is plus, everyone seems to love Bardugo's writing.
3. Dumplin' by Julie Murphy - I have been seeing some awesome reviews for this one.
4. Legacy of Kings (Blood of Gods and Royals #1) by Eleanor Herman - The fantasy and history blended together has caught my interest for sure!
5. Truthwitch (The Witchlands #1) by Susan Dennard - I loved Dennard's Strange and Deadly series and this book is getting a lot of hype so I cannot wait!

What are your top ten?

I'm only going to be at BEA one day (Thursday), so I'm going to miss out on a lot of those. I'm driving from PA and can't go more than one day. I hope you get all of these! Good luck!

Truthwitch and Six of Crows definitely seem like favorites for BEA!! I hope you get them :) Have fun at BEA !!

Truthwitch and Six of Crows are definitely 2 of the popular ones it seems. I'm definitely excited to read Six of Crows but I'm wary of Truthwitch because I disliked how the author ended her previous series. Still, I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and I'll check it out maybe after the hype has died a little.
Have fun, ladies!

So jealous that you guys are headed for BEA! Take all the photos and all the books, of course. ^_^

Nicole: I need Armada! Okay, I haven't read Ready Player One yet, but this cover is gorgeous and I love the synopsis. Truthwitch as well! So much early hype for this already. SIX OF CROWS. Leigh is a literary genius. Need.

Ashley: They're giving away special editions of Fangirl? That's so awesome! And I'm definitely excited for Six of Crows as well. <3 And Truthwitch! Dumplin' looks fantastic, and I have an eARC of Legacy of Kings that I can't wait to read!

I really want to get into Bardugo! EVERYONE loves the Darkling . . . at least everyone that I follow does. I'm scared to read it because what if I don't like it? I think I will start with Six of Crows (when it comes out) and if I like that one, then I will move to the Grisha trilogy.

I'm so jealous that You're going to BEA =D. I really wish I lived closer to it because then i would go every here, but alas, I don't. So I live vicariously through other bloggers :)
Truthwitch is suppose to be amazing. I've heard nothing but great things about it, especially from Sarah J. Maas wich means it is beyond amazing! Right?

I hope you to get all of the books you wish for during BEA =D

I would die for Truthwitch! I hope you get all of these books you want! I also look forward to reading Six of Crows, Dumplin, Armada, and Legacy of Kings! I really wish I was going to BEA, but due to the wedding I had to travel for last month I was not able to afford it and take days off. Luckily next year it is going to be in Chicago!

Anyway, I hope you both have so much fun at BEA!!!!

It's my first time going to BEA this year! So excited!! I'm most excited though for the Six of Crows book. I LOVED the Grisha series by Leigh Bardugo :D I'll try and get Truthwitch as well, but not as big of a priority compared to Six of Crows.

Hope you both have fun at BEA, wish I could go!! Lair of Dreams…how long has it been since the first book? I'll definitely have to reread. Six of Crows!!! Can't wait. Truthwitch…I'm still deciding. I was so disappointed (ok, mad) about how she ended Something Strange and Deadly series that I'm not sure if I'm reading this. Legacy of Kings! I read it and LOVED it.
