Top Ten Books We'd Love To See As Movies/Tv Shows

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's Top Ten list is "Top Ten Books We'd Love To See As Movies/Tv Shows"

Nicole's Top Five

1. The Diviners by Libba Bray - I can totally see this as a TV Show. People with supernatural abilities  solving crimes in the 20s? Yes please.

2. The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh - I think this story would make for one hell of a movie.

3. The Malediction Trilogy by Danielle L. Jensen - I can't decide if this would be a better movie or TV show. I think both would be fantastic.

4. Boomerang by Noelle August - Honestly, I'm not sure why a dating site company isn't already the backdrop of a great comedy TV show.

5. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins - All of her books would make excellent rom-coms.

Ashley's Top Five

1. Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout -I think this series would make a great TV series between the witty conversations and the action it would make a nice show, perhaps on the CW.

2. Landline by Rainbow Rowell - Landline would make a fantastic Romantic comedy, it has a unique premise and great storyline.

3. The Scorpio Race by Maggie Stiefvater - I would love to see this come to life as a movie (in the right hands of course).

4. The Jessica Darling Series by Megan McCafferty - This series would make a fantastic television series.  There are a number of characters and story lines that could keep the show going.

5. Not a Drop to Drink by Mindy McGinnis - This could make a great movie, it is intense with a different kind of action premise.

What are your top ten?

Great lists! I really would love to see The Wrath and the Dawn as a movie. It would be amazing! So many on these lists that I haven't read yet but I want to, like Not a Drop to Drink and the Scorpio Races.

Boomerang would be an awesome TV show! Not sure how I didn't think of that for my post haha. I also had the Jessica Darling series on my list. These TV networks really need to get it together.
I still need to read all of these! I know I'll be reading The Diviners soon because I just got an ARC of Lair of Dreams. The Wrath and the Dawn and Stolen Songbird are at the top of my tbr, too.

These are all great picks! As long as none of them get messed up in the book to movie adaptation process. ;)

I've actually only read Anna and the French Kiss and Landline from both of your lists, but I agree that those would make AWESOME ROM COMS. And plus seeing Paris in general is really cool :)

I think Obsidian would be a wonderful tv show! Ahhh I need The Wrath and The Dawn to be a movie. That would be wonderful just to see all those beautifully described scenes and settings come alive. Awesome picks!!
Nice picks. While I haven't yet read the Wrath and the Dawn, everything I've heard suggests that it'd be epic. I need more fantasyish movies in my life.

Great picks! Obsidian would make a really good CW show and something that would really fit in with that network. They should get on that :) I haven't read the Diviners or Boomerang yet - but I totally agree from the summary that both would make good tv shows. I'd watch all three!

The Scorpio Races would make a great movie!

So many of these I'd love to see as movies! The Scorpio Races (or anything by Maggie), Boomerang, Anna, and Stolen Songbird (that's a great choice). They'd probably never compare tho! :P
