Book Blogger Love-A-Thon: Challenge #3 Mad Lib

We are so excited to be a part of the Book Blogger Love-A-Thon hosted by Katelyn of Tales of Books and Bands & Alexa of Alexa Loves Books! For the third mini challenge of this event, we were asked to fill in the book mad lib!

One day, I was CAVORTING with WILL HERONDALE. Out of the blue, a DEATH EATER came out of nowhere! It was so FUZZY, PETITE and WICKED. At first, we were afraid, we were petrified, but we LEVITATED. We hopped on A MAGICAL CARPET to make our getaway.

As we escaped, we turned up the radio because SPICE UP YOUR LIFE came on and made me KNIT. Everything was extremely smooth sailing until a PLATYPUS appeared in the middle of the road. We swerved to avoid it, but while WILL HERONDALE stayed on A MAGICAL CARPET, I got thrown onto my side in the woods.

I couldn't get up, and felt DUSTY as I lay there staring up at the trees. What was I going to do? I heard a HISSING among the leaves, and felt HYSTERICAL. Surely, this was going to be my end. As my eyes fluttered shut, the last thing I saw was a head of CYAN hair and BURNT ORANGE eyes.

When I woke up again, I was on a CHAISE LOUNGE. My body hurt a whole lot less, and I could sit up. There was a LAVA LAMP and OUIJA BOARD in the room, along with CRUMPETS and TEQUILA. The door suddenly opened to reveal THE DARKLING, a concerned look on his face. I blushed and averted my gaze, but he UNDRESSED and said, "Don't be shy. It's okay."

He came over to sit by me, and we started talking after I told him my name. We chatted about READINGTWERKING and MOON WALKING and realized we had a ton in common! I thought he was UNRULY and couldn't help feeling a little swoony.

Just as he reached out for my hand, the door crashed open and in came RAFFE. "Don't let him charm you away, my love!" He yelled, running at THE DARKLING. They each had SPORKS in their hands and began to fight. "Stop!", I yelled, feeling so GIDDY. They didn't listen to me. Before I could intervene, THE DARKLING fell to the floor and disappeared in a cloud of smoke.

"What was that?" I asked, staring at the empty space. RAFFE dropped his weapon, and came over to me. "Magic, but you are safe now, SUGAR LIPS." He hugged me close, and I suddenly knew that this was the real deal and not just a dream.

Just as CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE TONIGHT started playing in my head, I woke up. I cursed my SCRAWNY luck. Why had it only been just a dream?

Book Blogger Love-A-Thon: Challenge #2 Book Valentines

We are so excited to be a part of the Book Blogger Love-A-Thon hosted by Katelyn of Tales of Books and Bands & Alexa of Alexa Loves Books! To kick off this event we answer a few questions to introduce ourselves!  For the second mini challenge of this event, we were asked to write a love letter to a book boyfriend!

I (Nicole) admit to being a bit of a floozy and having many book boyfriends. But one boy who never ceases to make me swoon, and who I have quite a history with, is Adrian Ivashkov from Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy and Bloodlines series. So he get's the honor of getting my love in the form of a letter...
This challenge also reminded me of a Valentine's Day card my friend showed me that I think is great, so I wanted to share it with all of you!

Book Blogger Love-A-Thon: Challenge #1 Spine Poetry

We are so excited to be a part of the Book Blogger Love-A-Thon hosted by Katelyn of Tales of Books and Bands & Alexa of Alexa Loves Books! For the first mini challenge of this event, we make up a poem using only the spine of books!

SO I did not mean to make this a depressing poem. but after sitting and staring at my books for way too long, this is what came to me. I swear it has nothing to do with my sitting at home, single, on Valentine's Day. IT WAS JUST A COINCIDENCE. Furthermore, I am no poet.
