Top Ten Books Which Feature Characters Who Our Coblogger Should Meet

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's Top Ten list is
"Top Ten Books Which Feature Characters Who Our Coblogger Should Meet"

Nicole's Top Five (for Ashley)

Ashley loves retellings and she FINALLY started reading the Throne of Glass series and is enjoying it so naturally ACOTAR should follow!

Ashley has not yet read anything by Victoria Schwab and what better place to start that with her most recent masterpiece.

3. Aurora and Niklaas from Princess of Thorns by Stacey Jay
Another retelling that I think Ashley will love, plus she already read and loved Of Beast and Beauty.

Ashley doesn't read a ton of contemporary but I am pretty sure that she will fall in love with Simon just like we all did!

Because Jubilee and Flynn are way more awesome than Lilac and Tarver and Ash just needs to read this book already!

Ashley's Top Five (for Nicole)

1. Johanna and Rafi from The Story Spinner by Becky Wallace
Nicole loves awesome fantasy stories and handles multiple storylines and POVs like a champ so I think she would love meeting these two characters.

2. Eleanor from Something Strange and Deadly by Susan Dennard
While I know Nicole strongly stays away from zombies, I think she would enjoy this historical fiction, Eleanor is a proper lady at times but is also not afraid to break the rules.

3. Beth and Jennifer from Attachments by Rainbow Rowell
These two friends have awesome emails back and forth, I know Nicole loved Fangirl so I think she would love to meet this dynamic duo.

4. Elliot from For the Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund
The writing in this one is beautiful and since Nicole liked These Broken Stars I definitely think she would like Elliot

5. Rachel from Defiance by C.J. Redwine
Crazy dystopian book with a rockstar powerful female lead, I think Nicole would really enjoy the setting and Rachel's strong nature.

What are your top ten?

This is such a fun post! Nicole, I can't believe you haven't read The Storyspinner yet! It's totally your kind of book and you should get to it soon! :)
I think everyone would fall in love with Simon. Make it happen, Ashley!
My recent post Review : Taking What's His by Diane Alberts
I haven't actually read any of these-although I cannot wait to read Sarah J Maas's A Court of Thorns and Roses. I love the idea for this, recommending books for your friend to read, it's great.

Here is my top ten Tuesday post: https://jjbookblog.wordpress.com/2015/04/28/top-t...

My recent post Top Ten Characters That Make Us LOL!
I love this topic idea! Makes me want to have a co-blogger. :P
I second For Darkness Shows the Stars, The Storyspinner, Princess of Thorns, This Shattered World, and Simon. Great choices!

I don't have a top ten today, but this is an interesting list! I'm more inclined to actually check them out myself. :D
My recent post [516]: Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
I love your take on this topic!

I am so glad Ashley is reading Throne of Glass and since she does love her retellings I definitely think she needs to read ACOTAR!

I have heard a lot of good things about The Story Spinner and it does sound like a Nicole book!
My recent post ARC Review: Seriously Wicked by Tina Connolly
ACOTAR, ADSOM and Princess of Thorns are awesome picks! I LOVED LOVED ACOTAR. Not only because of Throne of glass (there are some people saying it's only popular because of that, I call bull shit :) it's just a fantastic story) and ADSOM was mind-blowing. I can't wait for the sequel.

Ashley, you recommend all the books I have on my wish list. The story spinner and Something strange and deadly are two I plan to buy soon :) Defiance was good!
Nicole...you have not read SOMETHING STRANGE AND DEADLY?!?!?! omg, girl, you are missing out on an amazing story!!!

Also Ashley DEFINITELY needs to meet Kell. He's on an entirely different level! Plus Aurora and Niklaas are some of my favorites ever <3

You guys should do epic recs each month as co-bloggers! I do it with Bekka of Pretty Deadly Reviews, but you recommend a book to each other that you think they'll like and they have to read and review it that month.
