Having a society where woman can't really live on their own is not my kinda place.

Lena (Delirium by Lauren Oliver)

Love is a disease. I happen to enjoy that emotion :) so that would not work for me.

Tris (Divergent by Veronica Roth)

A society broken up by factions with serious bad leaders. Not even sure what faction I would be in if I had to pick.

Lynn (Not a Drop to Drink by Mindy McGinnis)

Ren (The Ward by Jordana Frankel)

The whole concept of water-logged city with infections sounds awful. I am not a strong swimmer so the whole water everywhere would freak me out.

OMG, I totally agree about The Ward. I have this insane fear of aquariums and parts of that book (like The Tank) totally freaked me out. I don't think I could do it, even for Callum and I adored him!

Sloane & Katniss, no thank you! Zombie apocalypse or fighting to death against other teenagers, I don't think I could suvive that easily :p

Lena & Tris, despite the fact that I wouldn't want to be so annoying as them, their worlds aren't rainbows & sunshine either.

I would not want to be Deuce either, fighting freaks? Yeah, no thanks! I still need to read Defiance and Not A Drop to Drink but from what I've heard, I wouldn't want to be them either :)

Oh, I agree most definitely. I wouldn't want to be either Katniss or Tris. Ugh, I'd have no idea what faction to pick if I got divergent. Knowing me, I'd be seriously tempted to stay with Abnegation and not leave my parents behind, but at the same time I'd probably want to change.

Cia (I'm just not clever enough and would surely die as well) and Lynn (I really wouldn't want to have to fight just for something as simple as water) made my list as well. Rachel is a good one too, those woman have no rights. It would be horrible to live in her world.

Oooh yay, we share quite a few! These dystopian worlds are SO imaginative and... scare the hell outta me haha! Delirium, The Hunger Games, Razorlands... great books but HORRIFYING worlds!

I noticed that when I was picking the characters, they are all dystopian/post-apocalyptic. My favorite genre to read, least favorite to want to live in.

Swapping with a lot of these would be a nightmare! Sometimes I say that I would like to visit other worlds for 24 hours, but I really wouldn't go for any of these. Especially Panem!

I would die on p. 1 in every single one of these books. You've listed some of my favorite books, but what makes them so much fun to read would make them the absolute worst worlds. Great lists!

I haven't read any of those books except The Hunger Games and as cool and kick ass as Katniss is, I'd never want to be in her place either. Great list!
