Top Ten Books We Wish Could Have Had Sequels

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's Top Ten list is "Top Ten Books We Wish Could Have Had Sequels".

Nicole and I do not read a whole lot of stand-alone books but we definitely could think of series we which wish had more books/sequels.

What are your top ten?

  1. I don't think you're alone in wishing the Curseworkers series had more books! I still need to read the first one - I have it and hope to get to it soon - but knowing how much I like Holly's books, I'm sure I will be another who wishes there were more than three. :)

  2. I still haven't read Poison, but it makes me so sad that there will never be a sequel for everyone who loves it so much. Great list!

  3. Ashley I'm yet to read Kirstin Cashore's Bitterblue series but I've heard so many great things about this book. I also had Eleanor & Park in my list. Poison seems to also be a popular choice in this week's Top Ten Tuesday. I love Melina Marchetta, she's one of my favourite Authors.

  4. great list! Eleanor & Park, of course! and Perfect Fifths could do a sequel like Boy Meets World about the children of Jess & Marcus, how funny would that be? ~daphne

  5. I agree with Bitterblue, I wanted more and I thought the ending was a little sad. I still need to read Eleanor & Park, but I keep hearing things about the ending so I'm a bit wary. ~Pam

  8. I kinda want more after Bitterblue as well. I almost put The Scorpio Races on my list! If it was the top 11, then it probably would have made it.

  14. Good list! I didn't include many books that were already series (well, I did make one or two exceptions). I probably would have had a much different list if I had. I also haven't read any of these books, but several are on my TBR list.

    Here's my TTT list.
